Conditions and procedure

Students require a minimum qualification of a first degree, with a good pass.  The medium of instruction is English and good writing skills and an ability to communicate orally and in written form is essential. Relevant work experience in development will be taken into account in admission decisions. There is no distance learning or evening classes, and students need to live in or close to Durban.
     
We have a specific application process which is outlined in the letter from the Discipline Leader, which you can download at the end of this document. Please note that   new requirement has been added for foreign students by the University. (See SAQA weblink in letter). Once you have completed all forms and procedures, please use the checklist to make sure that you have sent all documentation and information, and return to Priya Konan.

You may download the Post-graduate application guide issued by the University, from their website, for supplementary information. You will need to complete and submit all the forms outlined in our application package and submit to Priya Konan as outlined above in order to be considered for acceptance.
