We are proud to announce that four PhD students and 27 Masters students graduated in the Development Studies and Population Studies cluster on 13th April, 2015.

We are proud to announce that four PhD students and 27 Masters students graduated in the Development Studies and Population Studies cluster on 13th April, 2015.

Dube_Casale_Dzomba_grad2015
Godwin Dube graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy. His PhD topic was 'Informal sector taxation: the case of Zimbabwe'. His supervisor was Dr D. Casale (Center)

Mbereko
Alexio Mbereko was supervised by Professor D. Scott. His PhD title was 'The relationship between HIV and AIDS and water scarcity and variability in the Nyamakate area, Zimbabwe: a political ecology approach'.

Nojiyeza
Simphiwe Nojiyeza was co- supervised by Professor Patrick Bond (Right) and Dr Shauna Mottiar. His PhD title was 'Integrated water resources management and manufactured scarcity of water in Africa'.
Amisi
Baruti Amisi graduated with a PhD supervised by Professor Patrick Bond. The title of his thesis was 'Civil society, dams and underdevelopment in the Democratic Republic of Congo: a study of communities affected by the Inga Hydropower projects'.
