Sexual and Reproductive Health Print

Aim: To provide an understanding of the main issues surrounding reproductive and sexual health and to enable students to find and interpret relevant information on reproductive health.
Description: This unit covers the major substantive concerns of reproductive health. It will also examine the social context in which reproductive health concerns arise and are articulated. Some of the topics covered include family planning, STIs, HIV/AIDS, infertility, abortion, male involvement and women’s health.
Assessment: Two short assignments and a long essay.
